I developed this site as a part of writing my book, When Cancer Calls...Say Yes to Life because as a cancer patient I became frustrated that the Internet has become such a useless tool for researching information about cancer. I say useless not because information is not there, but because it is so hard to find. Unless you are sophisticated enough to know exactly what you are looking for, and precisely how to find it, you never will.

So I decided that I would develop this links site to help you.

I have browsed the Internet to find what I believe to be the most helpful sites that contain information about a wide variety of subjects that cancer patients, caregivers, loved ones, and others night need to know. I am not censoring anything - I am simply trying to make things easier for you.

Nobody is advertising to place their sites here. I put them here because I think the information will be helpful to you.

And I am not just doing this one time and walking away. I will be constantly monitoring these sites on a regular basis to make sure they remain active and up-to-date, and to find new sites that I can add.

I hope you will find the linkages to these sites helpful as you research your disease. One of the most important things you can do is to be is an informed patient. Unless you know about your disease, medications, side effects, risks, tests, etc., you are doing yourself a disservice in evaluating your treatment alternatives.
